About a year ago my 14 y/o pit bull mix Bullitt started having a lot of trouble with his arthritis and his energy seemed to have disappeared completely. About 6 months ago I decided to start supplementing his diet with fish oil. It appears to have worked wonders. He isn't as stiff as he was and he seems to have way more energy. What are your thoughts on using fish oil as a supplement? What about cod liver oil? What's the difference?

no real difference between the two, its the omega-3 fatty acids.  Works best for skin conditions, maybe heart health too.  Try adding a glucosamine/chondroitin supplement for joint health too.
