I even hate to share this because I know, as soon as I do, Scetti will disprove it, but ya know...someone else might benefit from it. So please, knock on wood.....
I've talked a bit about this before, but wanted to start a topic on it to get some other opinions...more professional than my own.

I've started making Scetti wear packs whenever we go out to help keep him calm. The theory is that in giving him a job, it will help keep him focused. I got the idea when I met a handicap guy at school with a service pit bull who was amazingly well behaved (obviously...has anyone ever met a service dog who wasn't?!). This guy informed me that he helps train service dogs with is brother who breeds pit bulls for that purpose specifically. I asked him what he had done to make them so calm and he said that in giving them a job it helps them to focus. He suggested I try it with Scetti who I'm convinced could pull a house if he wanted to. Walks with Scetti are neither comfortable nor enjoyable as my arms are always sore by the end of our walk and he's always gasping for breath because he's been choking himself the whole time. So I tried it and believe it or not, it makes ALL the difference in the world. Scetts watches me for commands and stays by my side. I was amazed at the difference!! Generally I put a water bottle in each side for a bit of weight, but other than that don't put much of anything in them. It's a pretty amazing thing.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
